G Priv 2 Reading Wrong Ohms Fix

Hey everyone,
Started having an issue later on the terminal firmware update it reads the OMHs mode as well high. Example I have a Crown SE-1 with a new curlicue. On my Wismec information technology shows 0.27. On the Chiliad-Priv, its shows one.78....???
Now I figured out that if I go into TC mode and adjust the ohms down, go back to VW and its fine. Firmware is V1.8. Gonna contact SMOK merely was wondering if anyone else has had that concern?

Th G-Priv has a factory reset. Have yous tried that? I only got mine yesterday, only it works peachy so I don't want to reset it. Bit I'm sure I'll be doing it at some point.
Practice:
- Mill reset
- Have the One thousand-priv ON, remove atomizer and printing the firekey so that the screen shows !Check Atomizer!
- Screw the Crown dorsum on to the modern and printing the firekey again and encounter if the ohms come up up correctly
Yeah. Done all of that. I have tried 4 different tanks. Should have put that in my 1st post.Still no luck. Even added the firmware again... no luck.
The 1st firmware (v1.7) went great... not this i!
Just an update
Called and it's under warranty, then information technology'southward shipping out today.
Just at that place is a ii to 3 calendar week back order with repair or replacement.
mine is doing the same thing, did u call smok or the supplier?
I called madvapes. Got the number off Smok's website. They are 2-three weeks back ordered though.
But an update on the G-Priv.
Sent to MadVapes, They signed for it on 3/ii/17.
They said it'southward under warranty, but 2 to iii weeks dorsum ordered.
Called today (three weeks), they Notwithstanding have no update as to when I volition get it repaired or replaced.
I know information technology'south non their fault, just gees !!!
Only had the thing a calendar month or so.......

I accept the Smok G-Priv, as well a Kanger an Eleaf, I observe a difference when switching tanks between the Kanger and Eleaf but since they are different articles I didn't think annihilation about it. I did put in some Clapton coils on the Smok tank and it did read the correct resistance. I didn't do an update, it said it was to help with the calendar which already worked okay for me. When changing the ohms amount a large change requires irresolute ohms the largest amount possible, trying the new amount, going to temp mode and changing ohms over again and so after doing this so many times you can get in the ball park.

Yeah, done that. Only information technology got to where every tank was doing information technology. Besides,they said it was a screw up on their part.Firmware would not repair, So why not allow them fix information technology(or supplant).

You do have a very large change in your unit so information technology's probably the best thing to practise. I'm nonetheless wondering how the preheat works in the unit, I can't observe it in the manual and none of the you lot tube vids discuss it.
It shows in TC mode that y'all adjust the preheat. I have a link but non sure if I can put here.

If I go to the Consummate Guide I get a unsafe its been reported to MS red folio. I merely rewicked the SS Clapton coils on the RBA deck to reduce popping. A side from the problem y'all're having for me it's been a very good vaporizer.
Bringing up an old thread. Information technology's the centre of May and still no modern. Madvapes keeps telling me the eye of the month.. March....April... May...

outset i was having leaking issue with tfv12.. so i saw a video guide ( )
tried exactly like that.. and pushed all the wires that came out from my t12-v12 and at present the mod is giving "ohms likewise depression" error. tried everything just it seems that the gpriv 220 didnt get the ohm correct as it stays at 0.00 ohm (refer pic)
What should i do?

OK. Got the Chiliad-Priv back. Gauge what? Notwithstanding screws upwardly with the Ohms besides high !!! What the heck??? Oh well, went in temp and adjusted it downwards and every fourth dimension I change tanks I just say no to the new curlicue.... gees!! No more than buying Smok for Me!!!
I had the Xcube ii that read ohms manner higher than they actually were... That and TC seems to exist an issue for Smok.

I'm new hither. I have a similar problem like you take. I've got 5 different tanks and all of them with different coils and my Thou Priv is reading each of them wrong. take a TFV12 Tank with the T12 coil and it'due south supposed to be between 60 - 350 watts on 0.12 OHM but it'south reading 0.21OHM (way as well high).
Everytime I fire it up on loftier wattage I get a warning sign 'Atomizer Shortened'.
I'm currently on V1.8. I tried mill reset but it's done the same thing. I've tried to update once again simply it didn't aid neither. I can't run the coil on high wattage and it'south something to exercise with the MOD and non the tank or coil. The but thing I tin can do is to put on TRC mode conform the OHM past myself simply even that doesn't permit me to use high wattage. I put the same tank and coil on the SMOK Conflicting 220 and it recognized information technology perfectly and we fifty-fifty had it firing up on 130W (astonishing). I really don't know what to do with that.

All I tin say is the G-priv is good for is a newspaper weight.
